Maryke & Dean Matric Farewell

Oh the excitement on the evening of one of the most anticipated events in the matriculants’ calendar – the Matric Farewell. Dresses, cars, make-up, suites, dates – everyone ready to show their unique expression of their personality. Some bring the shine, some bring the swag, some the humor but no matter what – in most small communities, the event is a spectacle that people don’t want to miss. Due to time constraints – we couldn’t take pictures at the planned venue – so we stopped next to the road and we made it work. And truth be told – I’m not mad at it – I think the pictures did them justice and we got what we needed to capture both the masculine and feminine authenticity of these two school leavers – Maryke and Dean.
