UNEXPECTED SURPRISES

One of the things that makes being a photographer fun is the sense of adventure. Like my clients, I also have butterflies in my tummy before the shoot!

It’s an adventure! It’s the unknown! It’s an opportunity for a creation on a blank canvas!

One of the variables is the venue. I love it when you plan to shoot at a certain venue and BOOM! it gives you a suprise little nook like this! I love the look and feeling of Anje posing in this old derilict building at Miller’s Point. It just gave a great backdrop and the hay created some nice texture in the image. To top it off, her scarf got stuck on something on the wall and I love the flowy perk it gives in the image.

Best suprise of this shoot? A BEAUTIFUL friendship with a beautiful lady – somehow I just know we will stay part of each other’s lives!
