It normally takes a photographer quite a bit of time to find their “style” of photography. Not really meaning the genre per se, but you kind of develop a style which can include colours, angles etc. that makes your work quite recognizable to others.
When I saw this image I immediately felt like this was my “style” of photo and one that I would most certainly put on my website.
I call this one FRIENDSHIP because every woman should have a friend with whom she is so comfortable that she can sit and scratch in her handbag while having a conversation. This photo feels like my favourite, warn-in pair of leather shoes. Comfortable, perfect fitting and molded around the shape of my SOUL (pun totally intended).
I don’t know the relationship between these two ladies, but it looks warm, welcoming, inviting, free of judgement and inseparable!
May we and our daughters become friends to our sisters like this! Warm, free and comfortable!
Taken at the V&A Waterfront in the Silo District in front of ZeitsMocaa Museum (@zeitzmocaa) – one of my favorite spots in Cape Town.
