A BOY AND HIS DOG

Rocky made his way into our life at a time when we already had 8 dogs on the property. It was a “hard no” from my husband. But I was determined to buy my son a dog for his birthday. And because a Frenchie was out of our budget at the time, Rocky (about 15 times the size of a Frenchie) made his way to us.

Even as a puppy, he towered over my then 6 year old son, and today well…. we have a horse. And God forbid if he jumps up against you. He has floored many humans in our garden, and it was not using his looks.

He is the most goofy, awkward, naughty pup you’ll find around but with his white Africa shaped patch on his chest and all, he just completes our tribe.

The other day, my mother snapped a photo of him sitting on top of our Rottweiler’s head. Yes literally sitting on his head. Not a care in the world and clearly not aware of the dangerous placing of his nether regions. But that is Rocky for you. Unphased, unbothered and ill mannered. Perfect just the way we love him!
